At Neuroconverge, Dr. Henzel views testing as more than a process for determining diagnosis or qualification. She also regards the assessment process as an opportunity to help clients develop self-understanding and empowerment, and to provide them with concrete guidance for a path forward.

Dr. Henzel prides herself on conducting comprehensive and thoughtful evaluations that utilize best practice tools and also consider a client’s unique lived experiences. She goes beyond the numerical data collected to provide deeper and more personalized levels of interpretation, which provides added insights into a client’s strengths and needs.

As mental health and/or developmental conditions commonly co-occur, Dr. Henzel takes the time to sort through layers of need, providing additional diagnoses and recommendations as warranted.

Additionally, using her training in school psychology and experience in working for educational institutions, she incorporates guidance and advisement on educational support needs as part of the evaluation process.

The end result of the Neuroconverge assessment process is a report that is thorough, understandable, insightful, and practical, as well as a feedback session that provides you with clear direction on your path to success.

Pricing

Neuroconverge offers flat-fee pricing for commonly administered types of assessments, which is based on an hourly assessment rate of $225. Time billed typically ranges from 7-16 hours and depends on the referral questions and goals for the assessment. Pricing includes all activities for the assessment: initial/intake meeting, direct testing, record review, rating scales, incorporation of parent and teacher feedback (when applicable) analysis and conceptualization, report writing, and the feedback meeting. Insurance Out-of-Network (OON) benefits may also offer some reimbursement for psychological assessments. We are happy to provide a superbill. Please contact your insurance for plan-specific details.

Examples of Commonly-Requested Assessment Packages

(Other assessment types are offered and packages can be tailored to client needs)

  • Evaluates for Autism symptoms and general developmental functioning (e.g. cognitive ability/early childhood development, adaptive behavior, and executive functioning). Also includes a thorough assessment of social-emotional/behavioral conditions that may be co-occurring. Parent and teacher measures are included. This evaluation includes the measures requested by county boards of developmental disabilities as part of their process for determining qualification for services. Academic achievement testing can be added for an additional fee.

  • Includes measures of cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional/behavioral functioning. Parent and teacher measures are included. Additional processing measures may be added if evidence for possible learning disabilities is present. Autism-specific testing is not included, but can be added for an additional fee.

  • Includes assessments of ADHD symptoms, commonly co-occurring social-emotional conditions, and executive functioning. Parent and teacher measures are included. Includes a performance-based measure such as cognition or memory.

  • Includes evaluation of ADHD symptoms, other potential mental health needs, and executive functioning. Performance-based testing (e.g. cognitive ability) is not included, but can be added for an additional fee. Performance-based testing available for in-person clients only at this time.

  • Includes evaluation of Autism and ADHD symptoms and other common mental health needs, as well as executive functioning. Performance-based testing (e.g. cognitive ability) is not included, but can be added for an additional fee. Performance-based testing is only available for in-person clients at this time.

  • This evaluation is for young adults or adults who are seeking clarification and/or documentation of any applicable diagnoses (e.g. Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) and their current support needs. This information can be used to help access college and community supports. This evaluation commonly includes assessment of conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and co-occurring social-emotional needs, as well as cognitive, academic, and functional skill levels.
